I am putting this out as a place holder for a biography of my mother. It will take a lot of time to gather all of the information, but I need something to insert it into. I will do something similar for my dad. Additions and corrections would be greatly apricated.
- May 12th, 1930: Birth-Parents were David Sanders Wright and Florence Edna Smith(1892-1937), Northampton, MA
- 1935: Residence-Northampton, MA
- November 28th, 1937: Death of her mother, Florence Edna Smith(1892-1937)
- April 1st, 1940: Residence-Northampton, MA-Age 9, living at 67 West St. Elementary School, 4th Grade.
- 1949: Attending the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, MA
- 1950: Attending the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, MA, Age 20
- 1951: Attending the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, MA. Studying Mathematics. Transferred from Smith College. Activities: Dean’s List 2; Senate 3,4: Index 4: Mathematics Club 2,3,4: Sigma Kappa
- August 23rd, 1952: Marriage to Robert Ervin Putnam in Leeds, Northampton, MA. Sister in law Charlotte Davis Wright(Willington) was Maid of Honor. Richard D. Putnam(Leeds) was Best Man
- Ushers were George E. Wright(Northampton), Charles M. Wright(Willington). Reception fo 100 people at 67 West Street. Will live in Champaign, IL after trip to Maine. She was a graduate of University of Massachusetts. Recently employed at Pittsfield plant of General Electric. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and is studying for his doctorate at the University of Illinois.
