Limited Biography of Henrietta Affleck(1812-1875)(C9)

 Henrietta Affleck(1812-1875)-C9

Birth: April 6th, 1812 in Scotland

Father: John Affleck(1786-1870)(C18)
Mother: Janet Jamison(1779-1846)(C19)

Married: Thomas Connelly(1791-1872)(C8) on June 28th, 1832 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Children:

Death: January 4th, 1875 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Henrietta Affleck was born on April 6th, 1812 in Scotland.  She was the daughter of John Affleck and Janet Jamison.  John may have been born in Dumfriesshire, Scotland and Janet was Cunningsbugh, Shetland, Scotland so it might be possibly to track Henrietta's birth to one of these areas.  She was the second of six children and the family immigrated to Prince Edward Island in 1820.

She Married Thomas Connelly on June 28th, 1832 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.  The wedding record shows that both of them were living on St Peters Road, Charlottetown and shows that John and James Affleck were both witnesses.  James was her brother and John was either her father or brother.

The couple may have had a son, Thomas Connolly in Ireland on March 16th, 1836 but I have not been able to find any documentation of him.   Their second son, James C Connolly  was born on December 25th, 1837 in Mount Stewart, Prince Edward Island.  Their last child, Mary Margaret Connolly was born on August 10th, 1838 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.  Henrietta died on January 4th, 1875 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

If anyone has access to the Scottish Immigration lists listed in sources, we may be able to find out more about where Henrietta and her family came from.

Happy New Year!

Here is a quick overview of some behind the scenes work I've been doing.

Dad's Coppermine River Trip

First, I have moved the transcription of my Father's 1975 Coppermine River Trip over to the website.  I first posted this in 2016, so some people may not have seen it.  I hope someday to add photos, but am not there yet.

Countries of Origin

The second thing I have been doing is reworking some charts to show where we immigrated from.  I've gone back to my 7th Great Grandparents generation so far, but will need to take it two more generations back to show all the immigrants.   I've posted everything on the website, but here are the charts and comparative DNA information where I have it.  The "End of Line" Category means I cannot trace the line back to the point of immigration.

My Immigration Profile:

My DNA Profile:

My Father's (Robert Ervin Putnam) Immigration Profile:

My Mother's (Caroline Wright) Immigration Profile:

Her DNA Profile:

My Putnam Grandfather's (Ervin Earl Putnam) Immigration Profile:

My Connelly Grandmother's (Mary Gertrude Connelly) Immigration Profile:

My Wright Grandfather's (David Sanders Wright) Immigration Profile:

My Smith Grandmother's (Florence Edna Smith) Immigration Profile:

The older data used has not been validated and I will be expanding to the earlier generations as time allows, so these charts may change.
