We have this photo but it doesn't have any labeling I can read. So I have put some puzzle pieces together to come up with a suggestion of who it might be. Here are the pieces:
- Photo was taken by French & Sawyer, Richards' Block, Keene, NH. The only family I can think of with NH connections are the Sanders. These photographers seem to have been in business in the 1860 and early 1870s. French took over the business in the 70s.
- Given the clothing, I think the photo was likely taken in the 1860s or 1870s. Jane was born in 1846. This could also be her sister Lucy who was born in 1848. We do have a lot of her things as she and her husband did not have children.
- I have a picture of Jane and the facial characteristics look similar. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of Lucy.
