My Great Grandfather's Fertilizer analysis

 I found a number of entries in the Massachusetts Sate Agricultural Experiment Station at Amherst, Mass.  July, 1883 that my Great Grandfather submitted. So here are some of them.  Here is an entry under Fertilizer Analyses.

Guaranteed composition; soluble and reverted phosphoric acid (available), 5 to 8 per cent.; potassium oxide, 4 to 6 per cent.; ammonia, 4 to 6 per cent. (equivalent to 3.3 to 5 per cent. nitrogen).
